The Opportunity
Our Customer Service division is seeking a talented Field Service Technician/Engineer to join our team in Western Australia. Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, this role is hands-on and diverse, involving commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and technical support for our product solutions — including Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) and PLC control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission, service, and maintain Variable Speed Drives and PLC control systems
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers on-site and remotely
• Deliver professional service, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
• Compile clear and detailed service reports
• Participate in the service on-call roster for customer support and breakdown response
• Travel to client sites across WA and interstate as required

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a relevant trade qualification
• Hands-on experience with Siemens PCS7 or similar automation systems (essential)
• Basic understanding of power electronics
• Enthusiasm to develop skills in Low and Medium Voltage Variable Speed Drives (training provided both locally and internationally)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently
• Current driver’s licence
• Excellent communication skills for customer engagement and reporting
