We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Sykatec – an Innomotics Business.

The team

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will analyze and prepare all technical drawings documentation of new projects from our customers.

Your future responsibilities

 

  • Develop and design mechanical components and systems 3D, 2D using CAD software, Creo Direct Modelling 20.1;
  • Analyse the mechanical design and refine it as per requirement;
  • Prepare technical documentation and specifications for production;
  • Ensure the functionality and reliability of the design (design to manufacturing);
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical design into overall projects;
  • Participate in the review and continuous improvement of design processes.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, regulations;
  • Interact on a daily basis with different departments;
  • Cooperate and communicate with Headquarter responsibles;

 

Your profile

 

  • Technical studies in the field of Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or similar studies;
  • Advance knowledge with 2D and 3D mechanical design software (ex.: Creo Elements Direct Modelling, Catia, NX, SolidEdge...);
  • +3 years’ experience and deep knowledge within a similar role
  • Technical understanding of documentation with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, and switch between different tasks easily;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical ideas clearly.
  • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong process mindset with Lean manufacturing experience.
  • Advance Microsoft Office skills;
  • Good command of the English language, German would be an advantage.
