Your Future Role
Main tasks are to work in a team with installation and commissioning during modifications of drives and digitalization and remote systems for Innomotics portfolio of medium voltage drives installations in the Nordics.
You will also be a part of service teams doing maintenance and system testing on site onshore and offshore in the Nordics. Performing work for retrofit and upgrades, digital services, field and maintenances task.
This position Responsibilities includes:
- System responsibility and management at site during revamping, modification & upgrades service projects on- and offshore, for oil & gas and land-based industries
- Installation and commissioning, modifications of Innomotics medium voltage drive systems for installations in the Nordics
- Install and maintain digitalization and remote systems for the Innomotics portfolio, drives, generators and motors
- Perform and takes management responsibility for service tasks like engineering, documentation, testing, and repairs
- Carry out maintenance audits at offshore installation and onshore plants
- Acts as an expert representative in meetings with customers together with sales management
- Be a solution finder and communicate on eye level with the customer
- Drive your own sales activities with own technical quotations in collaboration with the sales department
- Part of the working time will be offshore
- Planning and execution of engineering activities
- Design and modifications of control systems
- Controller programming & HMI design
- Engineering of automation solutions for the energy industry (onshore and offshore)
- Planning and execution of engineering activities
- Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities
- Be a solution finder and communicate solutions and timelines on eye level with the customer
Office locations in Norway and Sweden; Oslo, Trondheim, Bergen, Göteborg and Västerås.
Mainly activities in the Nordics and global travel activities in connection with projects and service assignments will be expected.
Desired qualifications in one or more of the following: (For a senior engineer of skills in S7, Inspire IQ, motor & drive experience) Preferably 5-10 years’ experience relevant working experience.
- Relevant education bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering , with several years of experience in field work
- Experience from medium voltage drives systems
- Electrician certification high voltage or low voltage will be an advantage, but not a requirement
- Being familiar with cloud based digital solutions (e.g. AWS, etc.,) and network structures and willing to gain this knowledge by individual training
- In this content tasks will be to support the customer to connect our motors and drives to our digital platform Inspire IQ and define the best possible solution depending on customer network infrastructure
- We will provide an intensive training to make you familiar with our digital solution
- We are looking for an individual who has already a certain digital knowledge or is keen to build it up and is not afraid to support customers in this aspect
- Familiarity with Siemens automation products Sinamics or similar is desirable
- Offshore experience would also be positive
- You can easily connect to people, have good communication and social skills, ability to work both independently and in teams
We are looking for flexible person who can plan and structure their own work, is customer-oriented, are service-minded, and like to stay up to date on modern technological developments. Working language is English and Norwegian. Knowledge of Spanish, German, Swedish and/or Danish is an advantage.
The ability to switch between working independently and in teams, combined with social skills and the ability to communicate, are part of your profile.
