Your Future Role

 

Our service department works with commissioning, maintenance and retrofitting of large frequency converters for compressor and pump applications, large rectifiers, high-voltage motors, generators and medium-voltage converters. We also provide assistance for larger projects.

 

As a Senior Service Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling our service solutions, products and projects in oil and gas, marine and industrial applications in the Nordic and Baltic countries - in practice high-voltage motors, frequency converters, generators and industrial plants. This includes planning and implementation of the sales process, preparation of solution choices, calculations, offers, contract signing, as well as follow-up of business strategy and customer portfolio.

 

The tasks at hand will be varied and interesting, and you will have customer responsibility for several of our most important customers. As a Senior Sales Manager, you will collaborate with our head quarter and vertical units to ensure the best possible technical and financial solutions. You will handle inquiries from our customers and coordinate service assignments as well as update our customer databases. You will make sure that we get the right expertise on the job and handle the assignments commercially.

 

 

We are looking for a person with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, with several years of experience. Experience from medium voltage drives systems, and high voltage or low voltage motors will be an advantage, but not a requirement. Familiarity with Siemens products Sinamics or similar is desirable and offshore experience would also be positive. You can plan and structure your own work, are customer-oriented, service-minded, and like to stay up to date on modern technological developments. You must demonstrate experience in sales and customer services, and the ability to identify customer needs and develop competitive solutions. You are characterized by being brave and clear in your communication, and in combination with a distinct ability to create a positive work community, you have great influence and implementation power.

 

 

Working language is English and Norwegian. Knowledge of Spanish, German, Swedish and/or Danish is an advantage. You can easily connect to people, have good communication and social skills. Be able to switch between working independently and in teams, combined with social skills and the ability to communicate, are part of your profile. You are structured, good at planning, and bring a customer- and service-oriented mindset.

 

This position Responsibilities includes:

 

  • Managing our Service Sales in the Nordic region, including the Baltic countries
  • Develop and build strong relationships with our partners and key customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Liaising with our factories for close cooperation
  • Be able to offer Service Contracts and projects on your own.
  • Serve as escalation level and manage customer escalations when needed.
  • Dedicated sales for other customers beside main responsibility for motor partners in Sweden
  • Create yearly budgets and plan the sales volumes and potential for target customers.
  • Analyse and evaluate markets (both technology and product portfolio) and needs of potential or existing customers.
  • Reports to our Head of Sales Manage

 

Desired qualifications in one or more of the following:

 

  • Proven record of service sales growth, specifically, new business development.
  • Strong presentation & negotiation skills, experience of presenting at C level
  • Excellent written & spoken English, outstanding communication & interpersonal skills, and a natural ability to work as part of a team as well as be a team leader.
  • Higher education in electrical engineering
  • Familiarity with Service Sales,rotating machinery and Drives
  • Understanding of power electronics
  • Experience with e-commers

 

We have office locations in Norway: Oslo, Trondheim, and Bergen

 

Mainly activities in the nordics and global travel activities in connection with Sales activities and projects will be expected.
