Utility Cleaner

We are looking for a Utility Cleaner (1st Shift) to join our team at Innomotics.

Your Future Role 

1st shift Utility Cleaner provides support to the Innomotics NOW Facility.  Must become a member of the local collective bargaining unit upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping and 6S activities adhering to all OSHA and Innomotics safety and work practice policies. 
• Follow appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal direction from supervisor. 
• Must meet all physical job requirements.
• After training, must be able to safely operate ride-on floor scrubber and fork truck throughout the plant.  
• Keep and maintain workshops and outside areas in clean and orderly condition
• Perform cleaning and other related tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
• Adhere to all safe work practices and plant rules of conduct.
• Adhere to all outlined sections and operational processes and procedures.
• Notify supervisor of quality, process and/or safety issues and concerns. 

Your Profile 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience working in related field
• Completion of a High School Diploma

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Operate floor cleaning and other cleaning equipment, sweep, mop, and/or scrub.
• Prior experience or current license to operate fork trucks.
• Clean hallways and stairs. Clean and sweep shop areas and debris from building entrances, smoking areas and along facility fences and building walls.
•  Pick-up any classified waste and dispose of in trash bins.
• Adhere to safety practices and procedures; perform other job-related duties as required.
• Clean, repair and paint internal and external walls.
• Perform Operator- Checklist and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Complete work order forms according to established procedures.
• Maintain all work areas in a neat and orderly fashion, following both 6S and workplace design processes.

The pay range for this position is $23.16/hr. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
