Your Future Role
Success requires excellent communication skills, the ability to learn and perform order management processes, thrive in a matrix organization, and partner with customers, sales channels, and internal departments to manage the information flow among all project stakeholders.
This position is based in Norwood, OH and will have a hybrid work schedule.
- Leads and/or coordinates the entire project (internal/ external) of the assigned organizational unit(s).
- Ensure cross-functional cooperation with Procurement, Logistics, R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Service and relevant suppliers/customers to achieve quality business goals.
- Leads and/or coordinates cross functional teams to investigate and resolve motor issues including development of technical solutions, coordination with engineering and refurbishment of motor(s).
- Leads motor refurbishment/warranty efforts and coordinates with NOW manufacturing and/or service partners to minimize turnaround time and cost.
- Analyses motor failure cause and negotiate with customers to minimize financial exposure to Innomotics LLC
- Manage warranty cases and drives to cases to successful expeditious resolution at minimal cost.
- Adapts and provides a project-specific management system including project documentation, regulations, methods and IT tools, following a risk-based approach.
- Ensures the implementation of quality improvement methods and improves process performance management (e.g. 8D, RCA, PFMEA, A3, VSM, DIR).
- Drives lessons learned across projects.
- Ensures the implementation and improvement of project quality reporting as integrated part of project reporting.
- Contributes to project planning to ensure that project-specific, quality-relevant requirements are considered starting with sales phase.
- Initiates training for project employees with regards to quality (e.g. methods and processes).
- Develops, controls and ensures the implementation of a quality plan (incl. quality assurance measures such as review / test / validation / ...) for the project derived from existing QM system agreed upon with the own organization, customer, partners and suppliers.
- Develops, controls and ensures the implementation and improvement of a project-specific QM system documented in the project quality plan.
Your Profile
Qualifications:
- SAP QM, Norwood Motor Calculation Tools, NX, RuleStream, Nucleus, DIR system
- ENG degree in EE or ME as well as at least 7yrs of professional ENG/CS experience in an electric motor/generator environment
- Willingness to travel 25%
- QM tools and ISO standards, CIP driven
- Thorough understanding of Motors and Generators
- Excellent communication skills
- LEAN basics
- Risk analysis and scenario technique skills
The pay range for this position is $87,000 - $149,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
