Your Future Role
This role is based out of the New Kensington, PA facility. Local candidates are preferred, but we are open to candidates in: Alpharetta, GA.

Customer Service Team Members are the primary point of customer contact for aftermarket and field support. This position requires strength in both verbal & written communication. Customer Service will also interact with all aspects of Innomotics internal teams & departments such as Management, Sales, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing.

- Technical Experience: Familiar with industrial/mechanical applications, aftermarket service & support functions, equipment startup & commissioning, or similar. Comfortable and willing to learn new things, process oriented with a continuous improvement mindset. A successful candidate should be familiar with Variable Frequency Drives & Motors, Electrical Control Systems, PLC/HMI/SCADA applications, general OSHA guidelines.
As a Technical Proposal Specialist, you will play a key role in helping us deliver world-class service solutions that support our customers’ most critical needs. This role is a unique opportunity to blend technical expertise with customer interaction and problem-solving. This role will report to Medium Voltage Drives Technical Proposal Manager and has a significant impact on both the Innomotics Customer Service team’s growth, success and deliver operational reliability to our customers.
Develop Technical Service Proposals: Prepare technical proposals across our diverse Customer Service Portfolio, including upgrades, critical operational parts, commissioning, field service, lifecycle services and more.
Define Scope, Cost and Leadtime: Determine precise BOM requirements and onsite support needs, ensuring accurate scope, hours, cost and lead time estimations.
Collaborate to Deliver: Work closely with our Sales Channels, Service Business Development, Procurement, R&D and Customer Service Advocate by playing a central role in technical proposal preparation and order management support.
Drive Customer Success: Deliver accurate technical proposals in a timely manner and review purchase orders, assist the order management team, and engage with customers and vendors to ensure exceptional service.
Innovate and Grow: Support the Portfolio Management and Business Development team by contributing ideas and expertise to enhance offerings for new and existing customers.

Your Profile
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience with medium voltage variable frequency drives
- 2+ years engineering sales support experience with a strong customer-focused approach
- Proficiency in proposal writing with an understanding of commercial aspects
- Strong technical and analytical skills with solid judgment and operational focus
- Excellent digital literacy, with a strong emphasis on SAP, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- <10% travel based on customer requested meetings and support
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
- 2+ years field service engineering
- 2+ years’ service sales quote development
- 2+ years electrical application engineering
- Variable frequency drives experience
- Teamcenter experience
The pay range for this position is $71,300 - $122,300. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
