Your Future Role

As the Repair Center Material Receiver & Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely, safe, and accurate flow of materials through the Repair Center. This position combines customer service, material handling, and collaboration with warehouse and shipping teams to provide seamless support for service operations. You will be responsible for ensuring materials are received, verified, organized, and available when needed, while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for inquiries related to material receiving / deliveries, providing clear updates and resolutions.
  • Support the repair center team by ensuring materials are processed and available to meet service schedules.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures when loading, unloading, moving, and handling materials.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against RMA’s, purchase orders, invoices and / or other documentation.
  • Accurately document and record all incoming and outgoing inventory in the ERP system (SAP preferred).
  • Organize materials in designated areas for efficient accessibility, traceability, and flow.
  • Collaborate with shipping, receiving, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless material processing.
  • Assist with packing and preparing materials for shipment when required.

 

As the Repair Center Assembly Technician participates in inspection, testing, repair and assembly tasks. Provides support with testing and troubleshooting cell assembly related tasks.

 

Responsibilities

· Troubleshoot and repair products with voltages ranging from 0-3kV AC/DC.

· Utilize hand tools, power tools, and hardware to wire and assemble cells and subassemblies.

· Understand and implement ISO/EHS procedures as required.

· Wire and assemble products per specifications using basic knowledge of drawings, supplier data sheets, purchase order requirements, and written & verbal instructions.

· Demonstrate ability to quickly learn and maintain proper build techniques within a specified area.

· Display the capability to fabricate & modify, metal, glastic, lexan, and other various materials.

· Use various wire sizes ranging from 22-gauge 37 conductor shielded to 1000 MCM 15KV shielded cable.

· Lift and position products, operate overhead cranes, and pallet jacks to assist with the lifting & control of moving/positioning of product under supervision.

· Assist in basic plumbing duties within a designated area if required.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with EHS standards.
  • Identify and share ideas for process improvements in receiving, material flow, and storage.
  • Participate in improvement activities to drive efficiency, accuracy, inventory accuracy initiatives and productivity.

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or customer service preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Basic computer skills; experience with inventory management systems required, SAP preferred.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials of varying weights safely.
  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
  • Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive working knowledge of a technical or specialty area, and of operations, methods, and practices.
  • Ability to wear required safety equipment (safety glasses, safety shoes, arc flash rated clothing/equipment, and hearing protection).
  • Capable of maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
  • Possess the ability to climb to different heights and work at heights above waist level
  • Ability to work overtime and flexible hours.
  • Math Skills required.Good written and oral communication required.

 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Associate’s degree in electrical engineering technology or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience testing, assembling, repairing, inspecting, and troubleshooting low voltage and medium voltage drives and printed circuit boards.
  • IPC-610 Certification
  • Understanding of NFPA70E.

 

The pay range for this position is $34,500-$64,100.  The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
