    Position: Electrical Engineer- Plant Engineering Services

    Work Location: Navi Mumbai - Pawane

    Field of work: Cement and Mining 

    Education:

    BS / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

    Experience: 4-5 Years, Experience in Cement and Mining industry will be an added advantage.

    Description: The candidate should have proficiency, an adequate skill set such as -

    ·       Sound knowledge in basics of electrical and electronics engineering. Should have independently engineered power systems upto EHV.

    ·       Experience in sizing of transformers, capacitors, reactors, earthing & lightning systems, lighting systems, cabling systems, battery UPS systems

    ·       Exposure to low voltage and medium voltage VFDs

    ·       Should be able to evaluate vendor product drawings

    ·       Understand LV MCC & PCC power distribution system Switchgear and auxiliary components selection.

    ·        MV power distribution systems including switchboard selection, protection relay selection and coordination to design overall protection for the power system,

    ·       Sound knowledge and hands on experience on ACAD

    ·       Exposure to Overall plant layout engineering, selection of optimum route, coordination with other utilities routes to avoid conflicts in cable route, cable tray and supports, earthing & lightning design and layout preparation, lighting system design and layout preparation, overall bill of quantities for various layout components such as cable trays, tray supports, earthing strips, lightning conductors, earthing pits, lighting equipment including fixtures, distribution boards, cables.

    ·       Basic understanding of controller Based automation like Digital I/O & Analog I/O.

    ·       Collecting and compiling of data for the power system studies

    Conducting Power system studies such as Load flow study, short circuit study, Dynamic Motor starting study, Harmonic analysis, Transient & load shedding study, Relay coordination study with Unit protection, Arc flash study, Insulation co-ordination study, Transformer inrush current study, Renewable Energy and Grid Integration Studies using ETAP tools

    Preparing of study report

    ·       Supporting proposal team in estimation for bids

    ·       Co-ordinating with client, consultant and project management team

    ·       Good understanding of BIS / IEC standards and implementation in design.

Mandatory Skills:

    • Strong Engineering Fundamentals.

    • Requires strong skills in change management, problem solving, communication skills, customer orientation, product technology, global business perspective, personal effectiveness, project management, team skills and quality.

    • Ability and skill to drive Engineering excellence.

    Ability to work / liaison with 3rd party vendors in evaluating manufacturing feasibility of components and sub-assemblies, preparing engineering cost estimates. Ability to be a Project team player

    • Clear thinking, Good Communication skills and ability to collaborate with Global teams.

    • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.

    Client Focus:
     * Responsible for assisting with identification of key client interests and drivers on moderately complex projects and may determine the key clients in some instances 
     * Communicates client interests and drivers to project team members and develops approaches to accommodate these concerns in the performance of the work on moderately complex projects 
     * Typically provides support to business development or pursuit activities
