As a Sales Professional, you will have opportunity to enhance our Geared motor business in India by contributing to increased market share and additional business opportunities with new portfolios.

As a key aspect, you will have a close collaboration between all related stakeholders in our organization such as Sales, Logistics, HQ and managing escalations will be critical.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Engineer for our Geared Motors segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in Sales and service function. He will be responsible for overseeing the Sales for select focused OEMs across India, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement in the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the sales strategy to meet or exceed BTA plan for that year.
  • Nodal point of contact for pan India customers to handle customer complaints and service business.
  • Formulate Sales agreements with new OEMs and some select key accounts.
  • Partner management
  • Coordinate service activities, including retrofit, repair, and spare parts management of geared motors at our ASCs or customer sites.
  • Collaborate with other departments and central function to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Manage customer complaints and provide effective solutions.
  • Develop and implement training programs for service technicians and ASCs to enhance their competence.
  • Monitor and analyze key-performance metrics for sales across India, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

 

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical engineering from a reputed University of India
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales role of geared motors.
  • Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with geared motors.
  • Good industry know how viz. Automotive, Logistics, F&B, Chemicals, Pharma etc,
  • Problem-solving mindset with result and customer centric approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented, and continuous improvement environment for executing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Quickly learn new tools and put to use. Learn and apply internal processes.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Willingness to travel across India.
