Quotation Engineer

We are looking for two Quotation Engineers (f/m/d) to join our ETTF Team (Energy Transition Task Force) at Innomotics dedicated to address Medium Voltage Motors (MVM), Low Voltage Motors (LVM), and Drive systems sales in the Energy & Gas market.

Your Future Role.

• As a Quotation Engineer within the ETTF team, you will provide essential technical and commercial support for our products in the Energy & Gas market. You will work closely with Key Account Managers, helping them identify the best solutions for their clients’ needs. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Project Managers, ensuring a smooth handover after the offer is accepted, and remain available for any technical modifications or challenges that may arise.
• Technical and Commercial Support: Assist Key Account Managers in selecting the most suitable Medium Voltage Motors (MVM), Low Voltage Motors (LVM), and Drive products, offering technical expertise and solutions tailored to the oil & gas industry.
• Technical offer preparation: Analyze customer specifications and manage product configurations with a focus on compliance and technical details.
• Project Manager Collaboration: Ensure a smooth handover to the Project Management team and provide ongoing support for any technical modifications or difficulties encountered during project execution.
• Communication with Quotation Center: Liaise with the Quotation Center in our German headquarters to discuss the feasibility of producing special or non-standard products in the factory.
• Sales Support: Provide discount guidelines, manage technical and commercial requests.

Your Profile.

• Education: Bachelor's degree or Technical degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or related fields) or a comparable discipline.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the oil & gas sector is highly desirable. Familiarity with medium and low voltage motors and drive systems is preferable.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of technical products and solutions, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English, with the ability to build relationships and present technical information effectively.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to Travel: Occasional travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and other business-related activities may be required.
