Your Future Role
The Service Sales Specialist oversees the daily operations of the Customer service desk, ensuring effective support for customers and efficient internal processing of service activities. This role involves managing the service desk, ensuring performance targets are met, and implementing best practices to enhance service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Customer Requests: Point of contact for all customer queries ensuring they are logged and resolved.
- Ticketing Process: manage the ticketing process ensuring all interna and external requests are logged and resolved.
- Customer Service: Ensure timely and accurate customer service, handling escalated issues and complaints promptly.
- Policy Implementation: Implement service desk policies and procedures to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor service activities and generate reports on CS team productivity and service quality.
- Technical Support: Coordinate with technical staff to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Mobilisation: Manage all tasks related to mobilisation of Field Engineers, coordinating activities between internal resources and external customer.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on new technologies and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.
Your Profile
- Education: Technical diploma or engineering qualification in electronic or electrical engineering OR Matric with extensive experience in customer support in the field of automation and drives
- Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience Customer Services or in a similar role within the electrical, control and instrumentation industry.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Understanding of basic concepts of electrical, automation and control systems used in industrial and mining applications
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
- Certifications: Evidence of additional relevant qualifications and training will be an advantage
- Other Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- May have to travel to customer sites
