We are looking for a Site Manager (f/m/d) to join our team at Innomotics.

Your Future Role  

You are responsible for the overall management of the assembly location for gear motors. This includes operational leadership, workforce coordination, production planning, quality assurance, logistics, compliance, and communication with headquarters and local stakeholders. The role ensures efficient, safe, and high-quality assembly operations in line with company standards and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

Operational management

  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day assembly operations at the site
  • Ensure efficient production flow, timely order fulfillment and adherence to delivery schedules
  • Monitor site performance against operational targets and KPIs
  • Identify and implement measures to improve productivity, efficiency and cost control

Team leadership

  • Manage, develop and motivate the assembly center team
  • Assign tasks, oversee work execution and ensure proper training of employees
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety and continuous improvement
  • Conduct performance reviews and support staffing needs, including recruitment and onboarding

Production and assembly oversight

  • Supervise the assembly of gear motors according to technical specifications and global quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with work instructions, assembly procedures and documentation requirements
  • Coordinate the availability of materials, tools and equipment needed for production
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of assembly-related issues

Quality assurance

  • Ensure that all products meet internal quality standards and customer expectations
  • Implement and monitor quality control processes during assembly and final inspection
  • Investigate defects, non-conformities and customer complaints and define corrective actions
  • Work closely with headquarters teams to drive improvements

Logistics and supply chain coordination

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for parts, components and finished goods
  • Ensure proper inventory management and material availability to avoid production disruptions and to meet customer requirements
  • Cooperate with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal logistics teams
  • Monitor stock levels, shipment status and delivery performance

Health, safety, and compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain a safe working environment and enforce health and safety procedures
  • Conduct or coordinate regular safety inspections and risk assessments
  • Ensure adherence to environmental, legal and ethical standards

Communication and reporting

  • Serve as the main contact person for headquarters regarding site operations
  • Report on production results, risks, issues and improvement actions
  • Maintain clear communication with local authorities, business partners and customers when required

Site administration and development

  • Oversee administrative and organizational matters related to the location
  • Support budgeting, cost monitoring and operational planning
  • Drive site development, process optimization and long-term capacity planning

 

Your Profile  

  • Technical background in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or manufacturing
  • Experience in assembly operations, preferably with gear motors or industrial drive technology
  • Leadership experience in an international or multicultural environment
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-cultural teams
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems and lean manufacturing
  • Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
