We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic individual to head up our UK operations based in Handforth Dean, Cheshire. In the role of Business Manager, you will lead a small team to develop and grow our well-established spindle service business, with a strong focus on driving customer satisfaction, delivering business growth and maintaining a strong market presence within the machine tools sector.

As a strategic thinker with a passion for machine tool technology, you will:

Be the lead for the Innomotics Weiss Spindle Service UK operations, focusing on Sales, Business and Workshop Development.

Develop and drive the overall growth strategy aligned with the Weiss global business.

Identify new business opportunities, influencing both internal & external customers and partners, ensuring Weiss becomes the preferred supplier for targeted customers and projects.

Establish and develop relationships with key partners customers.

Lead and develop the UK team including office, engineering, service, workshop, supply chain and logistics functions.

Identify and understand the strategic direction of markets and customers to profitably increase market share.

Promote the brand, running seminars, exhibitions etc

Ensure timely application, service, product, and quotation support for all customers.

Identify service support opportunities and develop a strong customer base.
To be successful in this role, you should have:

A technical aptitude, good understanding of sales and commercial issues, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and be comfortable presenting to customers across contrasting functions, in different environments and at different levels.

Experience in machine tools/applications business, with a proven record of accomplishment of success in driving business growth and leading teams to achieve exceptional results.

Be able to spot market trends and capitalize on business opportunities.
