The role.

 

This role reports to the HR Head for Americas. The HR Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to managers, supervisors, and labor attorneys, and works in close partnership with other HR Consultants and Specialists across Latin America. This role is responsible for supporting salaried and hourly employees across Brazil, including our locations in Jundiaí and Belo Horizonte.

 

In this role, you will deliver consultative HR services and a broad range of HR expertise aligned with business strategy. You will support the Jundiaí site, including the manufacturing operation, and the Belo Horizonte Digital Hub, partnering with leaders on both strategic and day-to-day people matters.

 

  • Be a trusted advisor to business leaders, and drive workforce planning within the organization as aligned with business goals.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop succession plans, career paths, and recognition strategies for their teams.
  • Cascade and implement global HR programs, including compensation, organizational design, and talent development initiatives.
  • Lead the implementation and deployment of learning and development programs at the country level.
  • Promote and support Diversity & Inclusion initiatives across the organization.
  • Analyze data to proactively identify and diagnose business needs/ opportunities and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Lead the local HR team, including HR Administration and Talent Acquisition activities, ensuring efficient processes and service delivery.
  • Manage external payroll providers (BDO) and oversee internal HR administration teams, including time & attendance, vacation, and benefits.
  • Manage relationships with benefits providers, including renewals, negotiations, and payment processes.
  • Oversee HR financial management, including budgeting, cost control, vendor management, and payment processes.
  • Provide guidance and direction on labor relations topics, including collective bargaining agreements and compliance matters.
  • Coordinate and assist in contract negotiations, implementation, interpretation and ongoing administration of the Local Collective Bargaining Agreements, including leading the grievance process under the Local Collective Bargaining Agreements.
  • Collaborate with Employer Legal Counsel regarding privileged and/or potential high-risk employee relations issues and investigations.
  • Provide analysis and resolution of employee concerns with growing complexity, visibility and risk related to policy or code violations while collaborating with managers, Legal, HR and other relevant partners.
  • Ensure company policies and collective bargaining agreements are optimally conducted by communicating, training, and monitoring adherence.
  • Partner with managers and Legal on performance management, disciplinary actions, and termination decisions.
  • Develop, review, and implement global and local HR policies and ensure proper alignment and application.
  • Coordinate data collection and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy of information.
  • Manage HR data, reporting, and KPIs to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and operational efficiency.

 

Your profile.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field of study. Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Significant experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner in increasingly complex and strategic roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, analyze, problem-solve, and make decisions rapidly and with positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through both written and verbal presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication style and build solid relationships with all levels of leadership, employees, and peers, both on-site and virtually.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI.
  • Required: Advanced English proficiency; fluent Spanish preferred.
  • Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of local Compensation & Benefits practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines and tackle emergencies and difficult situations.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills to address issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage large volumes of data, maintain accurate records, analyze and organize information, and effectively manage projects and priorities.
  • Ability to effectively plan, coordinate, establish and maintain effective working relationships and prioritize workloads based on available resources.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10–15% as required.
