Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and manage cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities across AWS and Azure environments.
• Implement and enforce secure configuration baselines using industry standards (e.g., CIS benchmarks, ISO27001, NIST).
• Design and support implementation of cloud-native protection mechanisms such as Security Groups, NSGs, IAM policies, and encryption.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans, analyze findings, and coordinate remediation efforts with DevOps and Infrastructure teams.
• Collaborate with cloud architects to embed security into infrastructure.
• Maintain cloud risk assessments.
• Evaluate new AWS and Azure services for security impact and recommend best practices.
• Participate in incident response and post-incident reviews related to cloud environments.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving cloud security threats, tools, and compliance requirements.
• Support with implementation of proactive monitoring, incident response plans, and security controls to detect and respond to security breaches within the cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in cloud security, specifically within AWS and Azure platforms.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management tools (e.g., Tenable)
• Familiarity with secure configuration and hardening techniques for cloud workloads.
• Deep understanding of IAM, key management, encryption, network segmentation, and logging in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep).
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, or similar would be a plus.
• Fluent in Czech and English language.
