As a part of the Innomotics business, we are creating a new global accounting HUB in Europe. We are looking for accounting and tax specialist who will support us to build the team.
Your responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly IFRS financial statements and reporting for assigned legal entities
- Perform analytical reviews and reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts
- Execute routine VAT processes and ensure accurate, high-quality VAT data processing
- Extract VAT-relevant data from the ERP system and perform basic plausibility and quality checks
- Reconcile VAT-related accounts, resolve discrepancies, and document results
- Prepare internal reports and maintain clear process and audit documentation
- Assist with VAT returns, legally required filings, and audit requests
- Collaborate closely with Accounting, Controlling, IT, and other stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement activities within Innomotics Business Services
- Contribute to projects related to accounting, reporting, and process optimization
- Drive harmonization of processes throughout our partners within Innomotics
What we will appreciate from you:
- University degree (Bachelor/Masters) in the field of economics, preferred accounting, audit, finance, tax
- Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in an accounting/tax department, audit or financial advisory services
- Basic knowledge of VAT law; willingness to continuously develop expertise
- Accounting related processes and internal control systems
- Confident handling of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Office, especially Excel
- Team player and solution oriented
- Accurate and structured working style with strong affinity for numbers and data
- Fluent skills in English are required for this position. German or other as second language is welcomed
Other knowledge:
- Double-entry bookkeeping
- Microsoft Excel
- SAP knowledge highly preferred
