To strengthen our global Geared Motors organization, we are looking for a Team Lead for our Technical Center of Competence (TCC) within Product Management.

As part of the global technical excellence team, you will support strategic customer projects, provide expert consulting for drive systems and become the technical reference for inverter applications. You will work closely with Product Management, Dedicated Sales, Technical Sales Support and customers worldwide.

Your role combines deep technical expertise with hands-on customer support throughout the entire customer journey, from solution design and commissioning support to resolving challenging technical issues in the field.

Your Role.

• Provide technical consulting for complex geared motor and drive applications
• Act as the global technical expert for inverters and drive automation
• Support Dedicated Sales and Technical Sales Support in technically challenging opportunities
• Perform application engineering, sizing and drive system dimensioning
• Support pre-sales commissioning activities and technical customer workshops
• Serve as the global escalation point for complex inverter-related customer issues
• Develop application notes, design guidelines, best practices and technical training material
• Support the development of new application solutions together with Product Management
• Collaborate closely with international sales organizations, factories and engineering teams

Your Profile.

• We welcome experienced candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of experience in application engineering, drive technology or industrial automation 
• Strong knowledge of frequency inverters and drive control is mandatory
• Experience in commissioning drive systems
• Excellent skills in technical sizing and application engineering
• Good understanding of geared motors, electric motors and complete drive systems
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in an international customer environment
• Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for solving technical challenges
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel internationally to support customers, sales organizations and project activities when required
• Ability to work independently in an international environment
• Strong command of English (required)
• German and additional languages are a plus
