Junior Strategic Procurement Specialist (m/f/d)

To strengthen our international Purchasing team at SYKATEC – an Innomotics Business, we are looking for a motivated Junior Strategic Procurement Specialist for our site in Sibiu, Romania.
SYKATEC stands for innovative sheet metal processing, wiring solutions and demanding component manufacturing. With our sites in Germany and Romania, we combine technical expertise, industrial production know-how and customer-oriented solutions.
Our portfolio includes, among others, sheet metal parts, cable harnesses, busbars, sealing strips, welded, coated and milled components as well as assembled modules and systems.
Our goal is to secure and further develop existing customer relationships while also growing in new markets. In this role, you will support existing customers, manage commercial and technical sales activities, coordinate offers and actively acquire new customers for our plants.

Your Mission
As a Junior Strategic Procurement Specialist, you will contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies and product category strategies. You will work closely with internal departments, suppliers, and the Operational Procurement team to achieve and sustainably improve cost, quality, and security of supply targets.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies and product category strategies.
- Prepare, conduct, and analyze tenders, requests for quotation, and bid comparisons.
- Carry out market, supplier, and cost analyses.
- Participate in price negotiations with national and international suppliers.
- Support supplier management and contribute to supplier evaluation and development.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and formulate recommendations for action.
- Prepare reports, performance indicators, and presentations for management.
- Actively participate in procurement and process optimization projects.
- Work closely with the Operational Procurement, Production, Logistics, Quality, Development, and Controlling departments.
What You Bring
- A completed university degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification.
- Professional experience in procurement.
- Basic knowledge of strategic procurement, supplier management, or contract management is an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
- Good written and spoken Romanian and English language skills.
