 Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in industries such as oil & gas, power, water, mining, manufacturing, and infrastructure.
  • Expand market penetration through distributor networks, EPCs, OEMs, and end-users.

Account & Relationship Management

  • Manage and grow strategic key accounts by providing tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, consultants, and partners.
  • Conduct negotiations, prepare commercial proposals, and close high-value contracts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, service, finance, logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and customer needs.
  • Provide regular market analysis and feedback to management for strategy adjustments.
  • Support product positioning, marketing campaigns, and participation in exhibitions/seminars.

 

 

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting in CRM tools.
  • Drive contract execution in compliance with company policies and commercial terms.
  • Maintain high standards of ethical sales practices and safety compliance.

Job Requirements

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.

Experience

  • Minimum 4–8 years of sales experience in industrial electrical equipment, with at least 2 years in motors, drives, or rotating machines.
  • Proven track record of managing large projects and winning high-value contracts.
  • Strong network with EPC contractors, OEMs, and industrial end-users.

Technical & Commercial Skills

  • Basic knowledge of electrical (design, application, and performance)
  • Basic knowledge on LV induction motor
  • Strong commercial acumen: pricing strategies, contract negotiation, financial analysis.
  • Understanding of VFDs, generators, and automation systems (added advantage).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with consultative selling approach.
  • Ability to work independently and handle complex sales cycles.

Other Requirements

  • Willingness to travel extensively (domestic and regional assignments).
  • High level of integrity, resilience, and result-driven attitude.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
