Innomotics is looking to hire a service sales specialist for our variable speed drives and motors portfolio.  This person will be responsible for developing service sales for our portfolio of services in designated accounts and supporting activities with our area sales team.

 

About the role

A snapshot of your day would include but not be limited to:

  • Sales and development of field service and service contracts.
  • Service contract management of assigned customer contracts.
  • Hold regular service meetings with customers to understand their service requirements and identify service sales opportunities.
  • Proactive management and development of ibase for lifecycle services such as upgrades, refurbishments and spare parts.
  • Promotion and development of digitally enabled services portfolio.
  • Development and sales of Low Voltage motor retrofits.
  • Working in key traditional verticals including but not limited to Power, Oil & Gas, Minerals, EfW, Water & Wastewater Treatment, Chemicals, Steel and emerging new growth areas such CCUS, Hydrogen, Gas Turbine Replacement, Energy Storage and Grid Conversion. 
  • Develop overseas service business internally within Innomotics.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to work both independently and also collaborate as part of a team. They will be able to demonstrate at least 3 years external sales experience working with rotating machinery applications such as pumps, fans and compressors.  Technical experience with variable speed drives will be a strong advantage.  Technical experience with motors will be an advantage.  Experience and understanding of providing added value to a customer is essential for this for this role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Achieve annual order intake targets.
  • Regularly visit customers for onsite face to face meetings and service meetings.
  • Clearly articulate the benefits of service offerings to customers, highlighting how we can enhance their operations and reduce their operational risks.
  • Explain clearly to customers how our portfolio of services can reduce unwanted downtime and provide return on investment.
  • To own the sales process and sales strategy for service sales.
  • Actively seek out new and retrofit business for motors and drives off the back of your customer service interaction. 
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any issues that may arise. 
  • To negotiate customer contracts successfully thereby maximising both order entry and profit.
  • To promote strategies that develop new order opportunities in a way which maximises order value and profit.
  • To provide regular reporting on order intake, forecasting and monthly sales updates.
  • Manage and update sales opportunity pipeline with CRM tools.
