The role.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ‘Technical Sales Support Professional and Bidding Manager’ with expertise in high voltage motor and medium voltage drive applications to join our team. As a ‘Portfolio Consulting Professional and Bidding Manager’, you will be responsible for managing the bid process, developing and executing sales strategies, and providing technical support to customers & sales.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the bid process for High Voltage Motor and Medium Voltage Drive products and solutions (incl. Digitalization portfolio), including bid preparation, technical bid documentation, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
  • Technical consultancy to sales and customers and review of customer RFQ, selection of the portfolio, Communication with factories, Sales and third parties
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting potential customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Cooperate with technical groups (factories, quotation center, engineering), sales, customer service, order management & finance.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the responsible products and solutions, industry trends, market & projects information, portfolio needs, price expectations and competitor activities.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Attend industry events and workshops and conferences to promote Siemens products and services. (incl. trainings for customers or internal staff)

 

Your profile.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales or bidding, preferably in the High Voltage Motor and Medium Voltage Drive industry.
  • Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing
  • Working as part of a team in a regional (Korea) and international environment
  • Strong technical skills and ability to understand complex technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
