The role.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ‘Technical Sales Support Professional and Bidding Manager’ with expertise in high voltage motor and medium voltage drive applications to join our team. As a ‘Portfolio Consulting Professional and Bidding Manager’, you will be responsible for managing the bid process, developing and executing sales strategies, and providing technical support to customers & sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the bid process for High Voltage Motor and Medium Voltage Drive products and solutions (incl. Digitalization portfolio), including bid preparation, technical bid documentation, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
- Technical consultancy to sales and customers and review of customer RFQ, selection of the portfolio, Communication with factories, Sales and third parties
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting potential customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Cooperate with technical groups (factories, quotation center, engineering), sales, customer service, order management & finance.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the responsible products and solutions, industry trends, market & projects information, portfolio needs, price expectations and competitor activities.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Attend industry events and workshops and conferences to promote Siemens products and services. (incl. trainings for customers or internal staff)
Your profile.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales or bidding, preferably in the High Voltage Motor and Medium Voltage Drive industry.
- Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing
- Working as part of a team in a regional (Korea) and international environment
- Strong technical skills and ability to understand complex technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
