Your future role.

A proven and agile sales professional and leader who understands how to grow and develop a global sales organisation and inform the business about requirements and trends of the customer a portfolio. You will drive growth into High Voltage Motor business and establish deep relationships with our regional companies and key customers that deliver a pipeline of opportunity for Innomotics to capitalize on and successfully deliver.

You will build your global team, conduct strategic sales planning and operationalize those plans with strong sales team leadership and guidance. You will also take direct responsibility for business development and sales.

This position will require a unique competency mix of leadership and agility, business development, consultative selling skills and basic technical product competence. If this is you, you can thrive in this role.

  • Strengthen the sales organization, coach team members, and oversee global coordination of efforts and focus to support the go-to-market strategy
  • Develop the global sales strategy and the tactical plan for our target projects to achieve business targets and foster strong growth in orders, in close alignment with our regional companies
  • Work closely with the regional companies and other divisions on business strategy on bringing insights into customer needs and trends and as input for HVMs portfolio roadmap and R&D efforts
  • Analyze and understand competitor behavior and portfolio to win further market share
  • Derive required Portfolio-Adaptions/-Extensions and/or Factory/Footprint Measures
  • Manage global team coordination toward the focus market areas, plan sales volumes and potential of target customers. Coordinate CRM for forecasts and planning
  • Develop strong industrial networks and relationships with our key customers
  • Prepare and negotiate projects and proposals in cooperation with other involved professionals and management
  • Drive the further development of sales and sales support tools, in close collaboration with the IT department
  • Completes sales and revenue related key reporting
  • Define Marketing Strategy in close alignment with Communications and Marketing department which executes the respective strategy

Your profile.

  • The foundation of your success is a university degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
  • Building on this, you have accumulated many years of professional experience in industrial companies, particularly in technical sales and sales-related roles, including customer interactions, contract negotiations, and management relationships
  • You also have substantial experience in the field of rotating machines, such as electrical motors, pumps, or compressors, or possess comparable expertise
  • You can lead a team and have international business experience
  • You are accustomed to working in an international project environment with intercultural competence
  • A willingness to travel 10-20% of the time worldwide completes your profile
  • Fluency in English (mandatory) and German is a prerequisite
