Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities
• Maintain and manage asset records, including proper classification and
documentation.
• Design, monitor, and maintain tool data, including skew wedges and winding former
designs for LVM applications.
• Possess working knowledge of the rotor die-casting process, including destructive
testing and preparation of test reports.
• Prepare, update, and maintain work instructions and Process FMEAs.
• Plan tooling, patterns, and equipment requirements in coordination with SPR,
aligned with planned and forecasted volumes from BD.
• Monitor tool, pattern, and equipment lifecycle, including end-of-life status, and
coordinate timely repairs or replacements with SPR.
• Provide technical support to SPR in the selection of appropriate tools, patterns, and
equipment to meet production specifications.
• Plan, monitor, review, and support special improvement projects focused on
process optimization, productivity, quality, and facility enhancements at CMPs.
• Support and implement special process qualifications at CMPs and supplier
locations.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related
field.
• 3–5 years of relevant industry experience in manufacturing, tooling, or process
engineering.
• Hands-on experience with tool design, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Exposure to die-casting processes, testing methods, and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of process documentation, including work instructions and
FMEAs.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as SPR, BD, CMPs, and suppliers.
• Good analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
