Location: Navi Mumbai - Pawne

This is your role. What part will you play?

  • Supports the Business Unit CEO in fulfilling her/his EHS responsibility, i.e. maintaining an effective Global EHS Management System for the Portfolio Operating Company (POC) with focus on global processes, defining product- and business-specific EHS related requirements and standards, and maintaining oversight of Operating Company "Headquarter-driven" projects.
  • Takes part in continuous improvement and execution of Innomotics EHS global governance. Sets and implements respective POC EHS strategy & roadmap, aligned with POC business and EHS Corporate strategy & roadmap.
  • Guides and leads the organization on POC - especially via functional reporting line to Country EHS Officers of Lead Countries assigned to respective POC - and own BU level in the planning, execution, ongoing analysis and improvement of EHS related measures.
  • Maintains and fosters close interaction with HR EHS, other OpCo EHS Officers, Country EHS Officers and Country OpCo business or EHS counterparts.
  • Heads EHS organization assigned, leads all related management and staff and reports to Business Unit CEO/COO and to Country EHS Head. Serves as key contact for all EHS matters.
  • Collaborates with Global Board EHS, management teams and other support functions and services as well as all relevant interfaces on POC level globally – as well as with HR EHS and dedicated Country EHS Officers - to achieve the EHS policy objectives.
  • Contributes to, supports, adapts and promotes global EHS programs and initiatives and monitors their effectiveness in alignment with Country EHS Officers (where applicable).
  • Plans and aligns the budget and personnel resources for EHS on OpCo level. Ensures an adequate competence management and training system for EHS-related competences in the OpCo.
  • Ensures the implementation and drives continuous improvement of POC EHS Management System. Plans, implements and follows up the audit/assessment/inspections program (including certification audits where applicable) in close alignment with the BU and Country EHS Officers.
  • Ensures that applicable statutory requirements are identified and accorded to.
  • Contributes to analyzing stakeholder EHS requirements.
  • Ensures implementation of EHS related risk management in processes, projects and products.
  • Ensures and controls EHS related reporting.
  • Ensures adequate EHS related communication towards internal and external stakeholder and authorities.

Dimension of Function/ Volume:

 EHS related KPIs and targets as defined globally by Innomotics EHS Management, Country EHS roadmap and Management System.

• Business Unit Head, Business Segment Heads, Customers, Contractors, Country Business EHS Officers, Health Management Team, Employee representatives, Project site team, local authorities, industry bodies, other internal/ external contacts.

 

What you need to make real what matters.

Experience:

  • Typically, 10+ years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge. At least 5 years of site related experience from relevant business. At least 5 years of management experience (incl. leading teams, intercultural experience, project management experience).

Education & Training:

  • Degree in technical education and/or EHS related/relevant fields (e.g. Safety Engineer) and/or recognized certificates (e.g. NEBOSH).
  • Evidenced training/expertise in the broader spectrum of EHS topics.
  • Expert level knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system and implementing/ managing management system elements.
  • Proven experience in working with management systems.
  • Open for Travel as business need.
