Job Summary:
As Corporate Controller in SCM/Procurement (f/m/d), you are committed to drive digitalization projects, process optimization and global reporting initiatives by using your methodological competence and innovative (BI-)Tools as well as continuously enhancing your skillset.
This strategic role will also oversee financial operations, budget management, and cost optimization for the company’s logistics and indirect procurement functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, procurement, and operational finance, for driving cost efficiencies across the organization.
- You will be part of our Global Functional Excellence Procurement Controlling team and responsible for analyzing company-wide procurement data.
- Thereby you ensure a successful global reporting and controlling of relevant critical metrics (focus on logistics and indirect procurement)
- including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting. Your tasks also include the visualization of KPIs in easy-to-understand and user-friendly dashboards, including creating the underlying data model/management to identify weaknesses, risks and trends
- Furthermore, the budget planning process is part of your area of responsibility
- You act as a dynamic interface for the Businesses, Regions and our Pooling and Logistic team
- You work in cross-functional digitalization projects with focus on procurement, process optimization and improvement of data related and technical topics
- Cost Management: Oversee cost control initiatives to drive efficiency in logistics operations (e.g., warehousing, transportation) and indirect procurement (e.g., IT services, office supplies).
- Procurement and Logistics Finance: Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure cost-effective vendor management, contract negotiations, and supply chain optimization.
- Data Analysis and KPIs: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and procurement functions, identifying areas for improvement and presenting actionable insights to management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a financial business partner to the logistics and procurement teams, providing financial advice, risk assessment, and decision support.
Your profile.
- Your success is based on a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Bringing at least 3 years of professional experience e.g., in accounting, controlling, project management preferably in a procurement related environment
- You enjoy working with large amounts of data and have the ability to tell a story based on the analyzed data
- You are very good at conceptualizing new ideas and approaches and also successful in implementing them
- Strong understanding of logistics and procurement processes, along with a keen eye for process optimization opportunities.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and experience in interpreting data to support decision-making.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP) and financial reporting tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Fluency in written and spoken English complete your profile, additional skills in German are an advantage.
