Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Category Management
- Prepare and conduct negotiations and manage indirect procurement demands across the region based on demand, market, and supplier analysis.
- Responsible for managing procurement activities related to logistics, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain services while ensuring cost optimization, vendor performance, timely deliveries, and compliance with company policies.
- Ensure long-term, cost-efficient, and reliable supply while maintaining required quality standards.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned indirect procurement categories.
- Support supplier selection, tendering, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management.
- Ensure adherence to legal, compliance, and internal procurement requirements.
Stakeholder & Supplier Management
- Cooperate closely with internal customers to achieve optimal procurement outcomes for required purchasing volumes.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Act as a trusted procurement partner supporting business requirements and operational needs.
- Drive supplier collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.
Cost Optimization & Process Improvement
- Monitor, analyze, and structure purchasing volumes within categories such as Services & Goods, Travel & Fleet, IT & Real Estate.
- Continuously identify opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization, and end-user enhancements.
- Support implementation of productivity measures including tenders, negotiations, and sourcing initiatives.
- Contribute to procurement process standardization and efficiency improvements.
KPI & Strategy Execution
- Ensure transparency and monitoring of procurement KPIs and support achievement of defined targets.
- Contribute to the regional implementation of global procurement strategies in a locally tailored manner.
- Support reporting, analytics, and governance activities related to indirect procurement.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar specialization.
- 8-10 years of relevant professional experience in indirect procurement or a comparable function.
- Proven track record in defining and implementing productivity and cost-saving measures through tenders and negotiations.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in international and cross-cultural environments.
- Service-oriented mindset with strong collaboration and teamwork capabilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
