We are looking for a Application Engineer (F/M/D) to join our team at Innomotics.

Location          : Navi Mumbai

Innomotics has set up an Application Center for global accounts, which offers MV motor products from global factories to these customers. The role provides an opportunity to work with global customers, sales teams, and a wide range of products.

 

  • Coordination with regional sales team, Global Account managers and customers for new RFQ handling.
  • New enquiries handling, segregation, prepare comments and deviations on the customer specifications.
  • Plan and conduct co-ordination meeting with region sales, Account Managers and application center for review of new enquiry
  • Working with engineering team to provide optimized technical solutions to customers
  • Selection of listed appropriate options (features) in tool, cost calculations sheet preparation
  • Preparation and submission of techno commercial offer to customers.
  • Order Acquisition stage- creating push with technical presentations.
  • Resolution of technical queries upon receipt of same from customer
  • Regular update of enquiry tracking system
  • Independently serve enquiries and submit offers (without support from Factory QC/Q Engg) for the named accounts
  • Direct communication with customer and submit the offer directly on behalf of Innomotics regions
  • Become a technical consultant for customers and support them on quick clarifications and price indications
  • Close coordination with KAMs, Regional TSS, Regional Sales
  • Factories/Products in consideration: MV motors from Global factories, extending to LV motors and MV drives in future

 


Knowledge & Skills:

 

  • 3 phase Induction Motor-
  • Strong know-how on electrical machines
  • Understanding of induction motor cooling concepts
  • Tropicalization/ VPI of motor windings
  • Parts of induction machines
  • Basic induction machine design principles

 

  • Ex Machines-
    • Area classification for Motors, Gas groups, different types of motors protection,
    • Design considerations for ex machines, selection motor product
    • Regulatory requirements- Exec, PESO, ATex
    • Strong knowledge of IEC 60079 standard
    • Basic design principles of Ex machines
    • Types of application for Ex machines
    • Variable frequency drives Concepts-

 

  • Industry:
    • Good experience in handling Comment & Deviations for O&G/Petrochem End-user specifications
    • Application Know -how of Fan, Blower, Pumps, Conveyors and Mills, O&G
    • Process knowledge of cement, power, metals, O&G processing

 

  • IT Skills
    • Excel, Word, Power Point & Power BI
    • SAP, Basic programming logics
    • Microsoft tools
    • Excel VBA
    • PowerBI
    • Power Automate
    • PowerApps

 

Qualification criteria:

  • Candidate should have a minimum experience of 10 years along with B.E/B.Tech - Electrical/ power electronics.
  • Experience in SAP - Proficiency, Materials management skills, contract management etc.
    Good written & verbal Communication Skills
  • Strong knowledge in medium voltage motors with relevant IEC / IS reference standards
  • Comfortable with direct communication with customers, specially, OEMs application engineers 
  • Good knowledge of Non-Safe Area (Ex, Exn, Exp) motors classification & zone areas
  • Strong hold on Microsoft office excel, PowerPoint presentation and linked formulas
  • Intermediate knowledge on Microsoft power tools
  • Very good entrepreneurship skills with growth mindset
  • Strategic thinking
  • Ability to multitask and willingness to accept undesignated special tasks
