The role


Logistics project professional oversees and optimizes logistic strategies for our supply chain services across our operations. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a track record of cost control, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.


What are my job responsibilities?

 

Logistics Specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising logistics activities related to the supply, distribution and transportation of components and manufactured products such as low and high voltage motors, medium voltage drives, electrical and mechanical spares, , guaranteeing an uninterrupted flow of products and optimizing operating costs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Material data  and PO creation and maintenance.
  • Monitoring the status of equipment delivery, to develop a strong relationship and communication with order manager department.
  • Continuous follow up to the shipping schedule from origin until arrival.
  • Support to cases of invoices or expense accounts with logistics providers to ensure closing according to established T&C's/contracts.
  • Be responsible for origin operation coordination; to act in front of carriers and shipping lines, to get support from customs specialist
  • Elaborate shipping plan distribution to dealer network after importation matter, based on  bussines strategy.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with support from procurement team to ensure compliance with contract terms and service level agreements.
  • Conitinuous communication with warehouse for equipment managment.
  • Continuously supplier's performance evaluations.
  • Implementation and impprovement of logistics processes and tools.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management


Your Profile

 

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, International Business or related degree.
  • Professional experience between 3-5 years. Advanced english level, excelent communications skills.
  • Experience with ERPs (preferred SAP) and logistic software ( desirable WMS, TMS)
  • Stock management exprertise and MS Office medium-advanced.
  • Ability to push logistic suppliers and manage internal and external customer requirements.
  • Experience in the industrial sector is preferred.
