Your Future Role
As a Site Manager responsible for the Project Management activities within Systems and Solutions Division Türkiye, you will leverage your high‑level expertise in automation, electrification and digitalization solutions for heavy industries. This role will be leading site activities of assigned Electrification and Automation project in Cement and Mining industries. Site Manager will be responsible for the technical and commercial success of the project during erection and commissioning phases on site. This relates in particular to:
- Responsibility for leadership duties at a work site and all associated tasks.
- Ensuring proper execution of field installation, assembly and commissioning services (in terms of technical, economic and quality concerns) to fulfil the business’ project execution obligations in a professional and safe manner, on time & to budget.
In this role, you will:
- Manages the assigned activities within the defined time and quality framework.
- Complies with the requirements of the Innomotics Project Management Plan with particular emphasis on timely and accurate reporting.
- Works to procedures and requirements concerning quality management (audits, test seals, acceptance checks) according to valid Quality Management regulations and standards
- Monitors continuously the project status, early identification of discrepancies and initiates targeted actions
- Documents all work results according to the valid document management standards
- Ensures that EHS best practice is implemented on all work sites
- Actively promotes the Innomotics Zero Harm initiative
- Identifies and assesses all risk factors utilizing appropriate risk measurement tools
- Devises suitable strategies for risk mitigation (elimination, reduction)
- Implement procedure for solving issues and problems (identification, analysis, actions and controlling) with all necessary internal and external partners
- Identifies and minimizes non-conformance costs
- Supports the project team in the identification and documenting of claims
- Puts the strategy for making/mitigating claims rigorously into practice
- At an early stage, informs customer, management and project team of scope deviations
- At an early stage, identifies and mitigates external claims
- Rigorously monitors the performance of the subcontractors, conducts timely escalation (in the event of qualitative shortfalls and problems in cooperation) and, where there are any discrepancies, initiates suitable timely action
- Manages project obligations within the defined financial targets (budget, target costing, target profit)
- Initiates invoicing according to project progress
- Support the project in optimizing the project cash flow and assets
- Properly manages customer expectations.
- Ensures efficient communication with all relevant stakeholders
- Ensures targeted and full communication within the site team
Your profile.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electrical-Electronics Engineering.
(MBA is an advantage)
- At least 5 years of experience as a Site Manager with full responsibility in industrial (preferably in cement and mining), energy and infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of instrumentation, process automation systems, MV & LV electrical switchgear systems, transformers, diesel generators, UPS & installations
- Strong technical understanding of Automation, Electrification and Drives & Motors systems.
- Has successful experience of working in teams made up of international members
- Experience with complex projects varying in size required.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with detailed execution
- Strong team collaboration and leadership mindset
- Solid organizational skills including attention to details, multi-tasking skills, advanced time management and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and customer focus.
- To be proactive, taking initiative, defining actions, and getting things done.
- Ability to meet demanding schedule requirements without compromising quality and EHS.
- IT Knowledge: computer literate with a good knowledge of Autocad, Primavera and Microsoft Office tools particularly Excel, Word and Microsoft Project.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
- Fluent English communication skills
