The Head of HR for East Europe is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the strategic people agenda across the East Europe region. This position partners closely with executive leadership to drive transformation, lead complex HR initiatives, and foster a high-performance culture. The role oversees HR teams in various  locations spread across the region and ensures alignment with global HR programs and business priorities.

 

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute country-specific HR strategies aligned with global and regional objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
  • Lead change management initiatives and support organizational transformation.
  • Champion a culture of engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee employee experience programs, including onboarding, performance management, and career development.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and ethical standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of all HR teams in the region.
  • Monitor HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, time-to-hire) and report insights to leadership.
  • Manage HR budgets and vendor relationships.
  • Drive leadership development, succession planning, and capability building across all levels.
  • Implement training programs tailored to country needs.

 

Your Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in international environment, manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale HR operations and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of local labor laws and global HR practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
  • Fluency in English, Czech is a plus.
  • Willingness to occasional business trips.
