Acts as the accountant for the Treasury Record-to-Report process, covering all accounting and closing activities within the Treasury subledger (CORIMA), with accountability for global governance and operations, process transformation, and continuous improvement to drive scalable, efficient, and best-in-class Treasury accounting operations worldwide. This role cooperates closely with and reports functionally to the Treasury R2R Process Manager (Process Owner).
Your Role
- Responsible for an efficient global end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) process for the Treasury function across all legal entities, including the Treasury entity
- Govern and support the operational R2R teams on the execution of the Treasury R2R process, under alignment with the Treasury R2R Process Manager
- Execute and further develop the existing blueprint for the global Treasury R2R process via RACIs, Swimlanes and the definition of a clear vision on an efficient and best in class To-Be Process
- Drive global harmonization by reducing local variations and driving standardization and automation
- Establish and maintain global Treasury R2R standards, e.g. fast close management, sub-ledger management in CORIMA (Treasury Management Software) and SAP, closing orchestration, journal voucher entries, reconciliations, analysis and review
- Own the CORIMA accounting module (subledger) as superuser, together with the Treasury R2R Process Manager: Capture, valuation and categorization of financial, derivative and treasury transactions, generation of journal entries for automatic transfer to the ERP general ledger (SAP), design, set up and adjustment of posting rules, training of standard users, etc.
- Responsible for all Treasury postings under IFRS and local GAAP (German HGB), including Inter Company Clearing (ICC), Derivative Valuation booking logics, Loan Accounting and other complex financial instruments
- Work under tight collaboration with the Treasury Operations team as well as other Treasury experts (hedging, cash management, guarantees, etc.) to set the basis for a state-of-the-art end-to-end process (fast, high quality)
- Collaborate with Group Accounting, Treasury and the Treasury R2R Process Manager to ensure complete and correct consolidated IFRS financial statements (e.g. IFRS 9 requirements, year-end notes)
- Establish and monitor KPIs (e.g., closing cycle time, data quality, automation rate) and drive continuous performance improvement
- Ensure audit-compliant, transparent and standardized process documentation and governance across all entities on Confluence.
- Govern the internal control framework for the Treasury R2R process under alignment with Treasury and the Internal Risk Control Organization
- Governance over desktop procedures documentation on the Treasury R2R process
Your Profile
- 4+ years of professional experience in Treasury Accounting, Financial Accounting, Corporate Treasury, or Record-to-Report within an international environment.
- Hands-on mentality in a dynamic environment, while maintaining a focus on the essentials
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Expertise in Treasury accounting under IFRS and local GAAP (preferably German HGB), including loans, derivatives, foreign exchange, intercompany financing, etc.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end Record-to-Report processes, financial close, Treasury operations, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Treasury Management Systems, e.g. CORIMA, and their integration with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit requirements, governance frameworks, and process documentation.
- Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable process and system solutions.
- Good communication, facilitation and change management skills across operational teams
- Strong business partnering mindset with the ability to balance global standardization with local regulatory and operational requirements
- Fluent in English and Czech, both written and spoken; German is an advantage.
