Job Summary

The Senior Technical Sales Support (E-Business for ASEAN) role provides advanced technical, commercial, and digital support to sales and project teams across ASEAN countries. This position requires strong knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems, hands-on project execution experience, solid documentation skills, and the ability to support e-business platforms. The role will support proposal preparation, project coordination, digital order processing, and customer technical discussions, particularly related to induction motor solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Project Support

  • Provide technical support to sales and project teams during pre-sales and post-sales stages across ASEAN countries
  • Review customer technical requirements and specifications and ensure compliance with regional and project standards
  • Prepare, review, and manage technical and commercial documents including:
    • Technical proposals
    • Datasheets and drawings
    • Method statements and compliance documents
  • Support project execution activities, ensuring alignment with technical scope, timeline, and customer requirements
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, internal teams, factories, and suppliers
  • Participate in technical discussions, clarification meetings, and project coordination meetings
  • Support troubleshooting, technical clarifications, and engineering coordination during project execution

E-Business & Digital Support

  • Support and manage e-business platforms including:
    • Webshop
    • IN SPC
    • SAP system
  • Assist ASEAN sales and project teams in order processing, quotation, pricing, and system-related workflows via SAP and e-business tools
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of technical and commercial data entered into SAP and e-business systems
  • Coordinate with internal IT, digital, and regional teams to resolve system, access, or workflow issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to digital processes, data accuracy, and system efficiency
  • Provide basic user support and guidance to ASEAN teams on e-business platforms

ASEAN Regional Support

  • Provide centralized technical and e-business support to ASEAN countries, including coordination with local sales teams
  • Understand regional market requirements, customer practices, and compliance standards within ASEAN
  • Support cross-country projects and ensure alignment with regional and global business processes
  • Facilitate communication between ASEAN sales teams, headquarters, factories, and IT teams
  • Support standardization of technical documentation and e-business workflows across ASEAN

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Minimum 2 years or more of project execution experience in an engineering or industrial environment
  • Experience in preparing and managing technical and project documentation
  • Hands-on experience or working knowledge of e-business platforms, including Webshop, IN SPC, and SAP
  • Basic IT knowledge, including system navigation, data management, and troubleshooting
  • Good command of English (spoken, written, and listening)
  • Additional language skills are an advantage
  • Prior knowledge and hands-on experience with induction motors is highly preferred
