The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated energetic individual for the role of Senior Sales and application Engineer – Geared motors in [Jakarta], Indonesia with proven sales track record. The core responsibilities are technical consultancy, business and sales development within the assigned products portfolio and industry vertical of Geared motors.
This salesperson will be responsible for the customer and sales development, driving product specification to the EPCs, OEMs, System Integrators and End users, channel product and technical training, sales forecasting and other functions as outlined by the Senior Sales Manager ASEAN & Australia.
This individual will work closely with the Senior Sales Manager ASEAN & Australia. He will also need to collaborate cross division to drive new business opportunities.
Location: Thailand
Responsibilities:
- Sales & Negotiation: Strong ability to pitch, negotiate, and close deals
- Communication: Fluent in Bahasa and proficient in English
- Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining existing and new client relationships
- Territory Management: Planning and executing sales strategies in assigned regions of XXX
- Reporting & Forecasting: Regular [add the frequency? Weekly, monthly?] reporting on KPIs and pipeline status
- Support digital sales initiatives: CRM reporting accuracy, and the use of tools and systems to drive operational sales excellence
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sales conduct, during all sales activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related. Master’s degree is a plus but not mandatory;
- 5-10 years of experience in B2B or B2C sales in geared motors, power transmissions or related fields;
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets;
- Familiarity with the industry that the company operates (e.g. mining, steel, cranes, intralogistics, wastewater treatment, chemicals, F&B);
- Understanding of local market dynamics and customer behavior;
- Self-motivated and target driven;
- Team player with good interpersonal skills;
- Entrepreneurial mindset to develop a new market inside a global, well-supported organization—offering high visibility and a fast track for growth;
We value
- Knowledge and experience in supply chain management
- Ability to read mechanical drawings is a plus
- Previous experience in Geared motors manufacturing
